survival out in the streets

Post by master legend on Mon May 10, 2010 3:45 pm

this is good info and i plan to put a book together on these skills so add any tricks you want to share.the other day i was talking to a new member of the team known as Smash told me a good trick.it is called the hobo heater.all you need is a roll of toilet paper, a coffee can and some rubbing alcohol.remove the inner cardboard piece from the toilet paper then put it in the can .pour some alcohol on it just enough to wet it up.then light it on fire for good clean burning heat enough to boil water on.

the tin foil chef

Post by master legend on Sat May 15, 2010 4:02 am

here is another survival trick that can help you feed many people.you can light up a fire with any wood or whatever, get it going.next get tin foil and make pouches that can be sealed tight. load them up with vegies and anything else you can get like even hotdogs. seal it up and put in fire, carefully pull it out when you know its hot for a real hobo delite.

if you get the chance make sure you stop at an army surplus store and get yourself a p-38.it is a military can opener and serves many other purposes. a wise value for less than a dollar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tCY6n5Mcgk

Ways to save money lots of it

Post by kellymarie on Sun Sep 18, 2011 10:55 pm

Dear Master Legend:
Want to get rich quick? Well if you are a woman with a large DAIRY AIR, book a flight to
Brazil. For the rest of us, there are even easier ways. Turn off electric water heaters
during the day after your shower if you are going to be away most of the day. The old
e bill will decrease significantly. Use plant proteins only for at least one meal a week.
Two plant protein only meals a week are even better. Plant proteins can be mixed to
give complete proteins. (Peanut butter sandwich + baked beans, red beans and rice.)
Putting blankets ON TOP of a comforter may keep you warmer at night. Also use a
sleeping bag on top of blankets and comforter.
Remember the food industry wants you to see a thick steak and endless food items as
a feast. A simple plate of spaghetti and garlic toast can also be a feast. At Thanksgiving,
I prepare chicken, not a huge turkey that won't be completely consumed.
I grew up poor. Birthdays were to celebrate that we were still alive and made it another
year. One rule i go by, never forget where you came from. "remember it all, every insult"

Plant proteins

Post by kellymarie on Mon Oct 17, 2011 7:58 pm

Dear Forum:
Today at MSNBC Oct 17, 2011 there is a website discussing how you can mix
beans and rice and other plant sources to obtain complete proteins cheaply.
That can help in today's tough economy.

Mythbusters covered the durability of truck bed liners this week. Among the confirmed tests were it adds to repel dog bite attacks when sprayed on a jacket, and helps to reinforce walls against bombs. While I am not saying a coat of this will make anyone indestructible by any means, it may help as a layer on armor to make it more resistant to scratches or blade attacks as well as some kinetics. Something to consider.
